Hi Everyone

I just purchased a 2003 Accord LX used from the dealer. I've noticed that when driving on rough city streets there is an annoying rattle in the driver's side door. Sometimes it is there and other times not. Is there a way to snug up the plastic on the door to stop this? I have a full warantee until 2010 on the car as well so is this something they would fix under warantee?

wouldn't hurt to ask, mine's starting to rattle some too (i think with the help of my new tight suspension)... i have no warranty though

i don't think they'd actually cover it though, cuz it's kinda expected to happen.. woudl they cover if you ripped your seat due to wear and tear?

 

the window regulators rattle intermittently. try and road test with the window down about an inch and a half.

 

you could cut up a milk carton and make some shims to wedge between whatevers rattling and the door. (If indeed its not just a loose bolt somewhere causing the device to rattle.

 

*ROFL* I can see that now.... some young lady climbs in the car... "Hey, nice ride, what are all those little white things sticking up?" "oh, I collect milk jugs with the faces on them then cut up the milk cartons and wedge them in the car to stop things from rattling...."

 

haha, i was talking about the plastic milk jugs, and dont make them visible from inside the car...

that would be eligible for the old "ghetto-rigging" thread though.
