Doors locking/unlocking randomly - 2000 Accord
I searched around and saw some similar issues, but not exactly the same so I figured it was worth a new post.
2000 Accord LX 4-dr 4-cyl
Randomly throughout the day, whether the car is driving or parked, all 4 doors lock and unlock together. I thought this was related to my aftermarket car alarm so I had it disconnected, but the problem has continued. Obviously this is annoying because my car will unlock itself in the middle of the night! I haven't been able to detect any pattern as to when or how often it happens.
From reading other posts I'd guess that it's related to the actuator(s), but most other people were reporting issues with just one door and I've only seen it happen with all doors simultaneously.
Thanks in advance!

Well I'm not stumped......Most cases of random unlocking are due to drivers door actuator, but usually the locks cycle right away when you lock the door.
Now the real reason, nobody answers questions such as this;
If I go thru all the time and effort to get someone all the information needed to make a correct & accurate diagnose, 9 times out of 10 the person wants a "silver bullet fix" and won't even consider bending over to check a voltage reading under the dash board at the multiplex controller.
