Yes. So the black trim that runs from windshield to rear on each side, there are a bunch of clips. Unclip them all and remove the trim. What you’ll see under there is the seam that has been welded. After welding in factory, they ran a liquid sealant along that seam and THAT is what is failing and letting the water seep in. That sealant has deteriorated Or was sloppily applied from the beginning (see the service bulletin from Honda regarding this above)

Clean it all up and run some type of silicone along that seam. I was at my wits end and ended up using the As Seen On TV FlexSeal I grabbed from Lowe’s. Has not leaked since! I honestly scoured the internet for this, all forums pointed me in the wrong direction, no one local could figure it out. I was desperate. I wish I took video or took pictures but I just followed the Service bulletin diagram and got it done pretty quick. Longest time spent is the drying of the new sealant.

also the clips are cheap online if you end up breaking any

Default Drivers side seat belt gets wet

I've been floating around this forum for a while searching. I own a Ridgeline, so I'm a very active member on that forum. We bought my wife a 2005 Accord EX-L V6 sedan (hence, my forum name) last August and it's been a GREAT car so far. It has about 92k miles on it right now and we've had no issues whatsoever until now. I haven't been able to find anything through the search on this issue. After any rainfall, the driver's seatbelt is soaking wet. I have checked the weather sealing around the B-pillar and both doors and it all appears to be in good shape. Also, the carpet in the area isn't wet and there are no stains or water marks on the headliner above the seatbelt area. I am totally baffled as to how water can get INTO the seatbelt compartment when it seems to be totally sealed to the outside. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what was the problem and how did you go about fixing it? My wife is getting exceptionally frustrated and I'm slightly afraid for my life.
i have the same problem on a 2006 Accord EX L. It happens after a hard rain. It seems to happen more often when the car is parked in a certain position. Front slightly elevated with the right side slightly elevated also. I don’t see other wet spots.

no joke I dealt with it for too long during a hard rain and I did my fix above and it’s been a year and not a single drip.
