Default Driver's side window replacement

How do you replace the glass in a 1991 accord ex with power windows. I just got it and when i rolled the window down it slipped off the track and smashed[:@]. So I'm going to the scrap yard to get a replacement, but need to now how to take it out and install it in mine. I know theres the 2 clips that the window sits in, is it glued or are there screws on these clips, also do you just lift the window up and out to get it out and same to get it in. Or is there some other way to install the window. Is there a differeence between the 91,92,93 windows? Or will i need a 91.thanks

Window is held in place w/ two bolts that attach window to regulator. Regulator must be positioned to align the bolts w/ some holes in the door frame to allow window installation. Window is lowered into the door w/ front end lowered first and then leveled.

I suggest downloading the 91 Accord shop manual from online manual link (hondahookup) for detailed guidance. It's an easy job. Make sure your window guide channelsthat the window tracks in are in good shape.

good luck

also inspect why it fell in the first place. it's unusual for windows to just lose their adheasive points like that unless it wasn't a honda glass.

I believe it fell because the motor and bracket had come very lose, so everything was off, and it pushed the roller out of the track.
