EGR valve error on 94 accord

on my stock 94 accord lx i got the check engine code 12 EGR ( exhaust gas recirculation lift valve ) does that mean i have to change the valve or it depends? How much does something like this cost? How does it affect performance?

my friend there is no need to write another post ,, with basically the same question,, if you look at the other post i have answered your question on how to diagnose it ..
