Default engine damper kits

Just wanted to know if engine damper kits are worth it. Do they realy help reduce the wear on the engine mounts. would they be worth it for a 97 accoed that has over 230,000 miles on it. thanks.

Do you mean the rear hydraulic motor mount which has a built in dampener?

Never heard of anything else, but tell us more.

My 94EX w/ 220K miles runs smooth w/ no modifications.

good luck

ENGINE DAMPER KIT This add-on engine damper mounts from any place on the engine to the chassis. Includes universal brackets for attachment.
Features:
-Increase engine stability
-Reduces wear on factory mounts
-Reduce torque loss from excesive engine movement
-Includes rubber isolators and polyurethane isolators

this is what i was looking at. didnt know very much about it. but it seems that if it stops the engine from rocking that it might help some i guess.

The 94-97 Accord will run smoothly w/ good motor mounts and correctly functioning idle air control valve (IACV). Seesticky on rough idle to learn how to fix IACV.

Unlessdampeneroutfithave a very good installation manual w/ specific instructions for your model Accord, you may have significant difficulties w/ installation. Much easier to replace existing motor mounts and correct IACV than mount this device.

Device will have no affect on engine torque delivery IMO.

good lukc
