Unhappy Engine light / rough engine issue

Whenever i drive more than 150 highway miles or so, my service enginelite comes on. Sometimes it will blink and sometimes with the VSA light. usually when it is blinking, the 'eco' light never comes on. In all cases, the engine is running rough (almost like all the cylinders are not firing when I need to accelrate).

The dealer has told me three times now that the problem is "bad gas". While that may be one time this has now happened 5 times in the last 5 months or so and I have no idea what to do anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

VSA? "ECO" light?
I guess we're not talking about a 1979 Accord, but it sure would be useful if you told us what it really is.
year?
model?
engine?
transmission?

Sorry. I have a 2008 Honda Accord with everything in it. The eco light stands for economy and the VSA light is the trasction control system; and the service engine light is the service engine indicator.

I know what VSA & ECO are about, I was just hassling you about not saying what car you have.
You must have a V-6 engine (I still have to guess?) because the "eco" light is the cylinder-deactivation feature which isn't available on the 4-cyl.

Your car should still be under warranty, unless you put tons of miles on it.

I'd insist the dealer take another look, because it doesn't seem plausible that bad gasoline can cause this stuff. If they don't, then go over their heads. Look up the phone number for Honda USA (customer service or something like that) and talk to them. (Are you in USA?) In my experience, those guys can really light a fire under a lazy dealer. Got paperwork from your past dealer visits on this problem?
