best plugs you can get for your car are Honda standard NGK PFR6F-11 Platinum plugs ,
Unelss i misunderstood you and the machanic did indded say that Honda standard plugs are poor quality ,, the guy is full of crap .. get as far away from that shop as possible

Well...maybe I'll be changing the plugs in my wife's 95 V6 sooner than I thought. AZ was all out of NGK's so I put in Denso standard's when I changed them last weekend. Yeah yeah...I know I should have spent the extra $ on platinum. I'll probably order some NGK platinum's online.

Well, for my 99 EX I bought the standard NGK plugs the ZRF511 (correct me if I am wrong anyone). I had the NGK iridiums in there, but you should always go with the OEM plug your car calls for. I heard that in 2000 the Accord went to platinums.
