97 Accord v6 105k miles

My exhaust is rusted and several holes have formed throughout the pipe.

Has anyone had this repair recently? How much can i expect to pay? Should i go dealer ( i try to avoid at all costs), Franchise, or local repair shop?

well trav, how much are you willing to spend. I got my exhaust system for 500 and installed for 97. so if thats out of the question than go to a muffler speciality shop.

 

Exhaust place or local shop. It will probably be cheaper for them to bend one up for you than buying OEM parts. It's hard to screw an exhaust system up, but it probably won't last as long as you expect it to.

 

Im looking to spend as little as possible, but i don't want bad quality. Im not looking to have an aftermarket exhaust i just need to get it replaced. I took off half the pipe and the actual exhaust because they were hanging just above the pavement.

 

just get a 2.25" pipe bent to fit and reuse the resonator if it's in good shape, otherwise grab one off the net that is the same length, but with 2.25" in/outlets
