Front caliper lifespan?

I do seem to recall DH (or someone with lots of expertise) recommending to use a shop that has an "on car lathe" to resurface rotors. I guess I just figured it was so easy to remove my rotors I could have taken them somewhere to have it done instead of bringing the whole car in.
But that is good information. I will keep it in mind next time my rotors warp.

Jim answered that for me............90 to 97 accords you want to use the on car lathe..hub over rotor set up...............rotor over hub, it is easy to remove them ..
But you would still get a truer finish to machine them with the on-car lathe

Cutting the rotors on the car gets you a better job as the hub is not always perfect. The dealer I worked just didn’t use or own a rotor lathe as it didn’t fit their policy.
