Front Hub Help
1996 Accord LX.
Just my luck... All I wanted to do was replace the factory wheel covers with some after market ones. Of course the factory wheel covers are held on by the lug nuts. I go to take off the lug nuts and 2 of 4 of them snapped off. Are you kidding me? I then looked and noticed this lovely hub over rotor design. Is there an easy way to remove just the hub so I can replace the bolts? Or do I have to remove half of the steering assembly to just replace the broken bolts?
Please help.

I just rebuilt an entire front end on a 1990 Accord yesterday. If the design is the same which I think it is there is no way to replace those without pulling the hub apart.
The absolute easiest way for you to do this is get some M10x1.25x4" bolts ( M10x1.25 threaded rod and vice grips will work) take out two of the rotor to hub bolts that are across from one another and turn the rotor so the threaded holes you took the bolts out of are straight up and down. Then put your long bolts in so they hit the knuckle tighten them back and forth and they will pull the hub apart. Then take the rotor off and you have access to your studs.
To put it back together just use the axle nut.
Make sure you anti seize the rotor to hub bolts they can be a pain the first time.
These front ends aren't bad if you know the tricks and you use quality rotors. The worst part is those hub to rotor bolts when they seize and the 12 point bolts on the back of the knuckle to get the bearing out. A ball joint tool also is a life saver with these front ends!

I have a procedure stated to be for 90-93 Accords, which may work for a 96 Accord. No garuntee, but worth a look. It's a nicely documented procedure w/ pics.
Procedure rotates broken stud to 9:00 position as you look at the wheel. Here there is enough room on backside to drive the broken stud out and start a new stud which is pulled in w/ a stud puller or other rig.
PM your email address and I'll forward.
good luck

A special split tool is required to extract the bearing race. I took my hub and new bearing to a machine shop and they removed old and installed new. Some auto parts stores may have the necessary tools to remove the old race.
You can also buy a new hub w/ bearing already installed.
good luck
