Default Fuel injector control resistor assembly

Is it common for the FUEL INJECTOR CONTROL RESISTOR ASSEMBLY to cause starting issues?

Welcome!

It can certainly do that. It would also help if we knew whether this is a 72 Pinto or some kind of Accord. Having a resistor box sorta puts it in the 4th-gen area, but do we have to guess?

This is better in General Tech, so I'll move it.

Tell us more information about your starting issues to start narrowing down the problem.

The car will start at times in the mornings and at times it wont but is we spray starter fluid in to the intake the car will start and stay on... also when its a really hot day is when the problem mostly happens...
