Default fuel injectors!!!!

I have a 91 honda accord lx and I cant tell if my fuel injector is bad or if my valves are ticking. Today when I warmed my car up it was ticking and I could smell gas I never heard or smelled this before. I am just wondering if thats what the fuel injectors do if they are cloged or bad. I just did a valve adjustment in september so I dont think that it could be my valves.

Is your check engine light coming on and do you see any type of smoke coming from the exhaust?

I just changed the cap, wires and I have ngk iridiums, I dont see or smell any white smoke from my exhaust. My check engine light hasn't ever came on, it does work though. I put in sea foam and fuel injector cleaner like every 2 months. The car still runs smooth but it has a slight power loss. would it hurt to take the fuel injectors off and clean them out???

ok I live in Wisconsin!! it has been 0 and below the past few days. My car drove fine then all of a sudden the gauges went out and my lights started dimming, I figure ok my battery or alternator must be taking a **** on me. So Im almost home when my car suddenly looses power, it starts bogging when you give it gas and it starts popping, the a big puff of grey smoke comes from my engine compartment. at this point im like WTF. i manage to get home and let it sit for twenty min, I try to start it up again and it starts right up like nothing ever happened. all the power was back and it drove smooth again. I am completely stumped about what the hell just happened. could it be from the freezing temperatures??? or is it something electrical that need to check. I checked all the wires in my engine compartment and they are all good. Please help me I can't have this car doing this at random times.
thanks.

I would go to O'Reillys or Autozone for a free test your battery and alternator. Check your battery cables are in good condition and verify clean contacts.

I guess it turned out to be a combination of having a vacuum leak and a loose battery terminal I hope this doesn't happen again thanks guys!!!

the causes of lean engine operation mentioned could also cause a rich condition. if dirt or some other foreign material gets in your honda accord fuel injector, it could keep it from seating properly, and this would allow fuel to drip when the injector is supposed to be off. you may be able to find this problem by isolating the injectors and observing a fuel pressure loss.
