RE: Fuel pump 1991 accord
The sensors in the distributor would set a trouble code if they were faulty. If no engine codes, you can discount this fault. Coil is most likely.
I would go w/ a used distributor before paying $200. Check car-part.com. Check ebay for used and new at better prices.
good luck

Ok, here is the latest. I tested the coil like in the diy section says [with the test light] and the test light just dimmed from loss of voltage due to cranking, no pulsing. So I assumed my problem to be the igniter. I took both the coil and igniter to autozone where we tested both,
Thanks guys
Dave

if you did the test just lke the DIY says and there is no pulsing. 99.9999999% you got a bad ignitor .. assuming all the wiring going to it is ok and not loose connections as well..
if you just are replacing the ignitor ...
ignitor from dealer ( i would not install a non-factory ignitor they are not as reliable ) is around $ 100-120
if a reman distr is only $ 200 ( even thou it has a non-factory ignitor ) you might want to go with that ...assuming it comes with coil + ignitor
