Funny Sound?
Hello there Forum. I have a question and will appreciate any answer you feel may lead me in the right direction to a solution. Whe I'm driving and i go to step on the gas to accelerate, I hear a chain sound? Like as if the axle is loose. But in my case this not the reason. Some people told me it can be the grade of gas I use. I am a regular grade of gas user, should I be using a higher grade of gas? Does anyone in Honda world know what the problem can be. Sorry if this is a bother just want to know if there was anyone who can help me out.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome. Before we can help, first you have to tell us what kind of car...
Honda's been making Accords since about 1977 & they're not all the same.
year:
model (LX, EX, LXi, etc.):
engine (4-cyl or V-6)
tranny (manual, auto, 4-spd, 5spd, 6spd)
Where are you? Honda has always played games with models & engines in different parts of the world. But the vast majority of Accords take regular gasoline.
Finally, sounds are real tough to figure out over the web. Best thing you can do is to pinpoint the location of the sound. Can you make the sound without driving?
