I'll go tomorrow and seek out some Permatex silver. To make sure I understand.........only a small dab on the plug is required. You don't coat the threads entirely, correct????????

I try to puton a dab that's just about equivalent to maybe 1mm or 2mm diameter sphere. The stuff is kinda stringyso it's difficult to put less than that. Install plug, back it out, thread it in again, just to smear the stuff around. If you really want to check your 'technique', just pull the plug back out. You don't want any anti-sieze oozing into the combustion chamber.

Back to the original question/idea... When you do this, inspect the condition of the plugs carefully. They'll tell you a lot about the health of your engine. This may be even more important than preventing siezing.

Will do. I always read the plugs for any abmormalities. With only 26K on the clock they should all be normal color.

And so do I agree, also permatex is the #1 seller in the USA for spark plugs..
