Default GREAT oil filter comparison

Just figured I would post this oil filter comparison. Its a good test.

I always use the Fram TRT filter and really wish he would have tested that. Any of you guys use the TRT?

I used the Fram "High Mileage" and "Tough Guard" filters on my old 95, but since I've read more I haven't used Fram since then.

I've only used Mobil1 oil and filters (the M1-104 they cut open) on my new baby.

Looks like I may switch over to the M1-105 on both my CG5 and the MDX to take advantage of the 30% more filtration and flow.

Fram looked like crap as always.

^ lol

I to am thinking of switching over. But I am intrigued by this TRT additive gel that have put in the filter. And a year or two ago, on tv I saw just a bit of a oil filter comparison and the only 2 Fram ones they suggested were the TRT and the Double guard or extended one, idk which. At Wal-Mart all they have is Fram + Super Tech and Mopar! Anyways, stores like Autozone and Advance always jack up their prices so I never buy any oil/filters from there. Where do you get yours?!

I think one of the old timers on here runs the Super Techs and says they're pretty good quality.

I ran run of those TRT filters once... I remember now that you mentioned the gel..

Right now I pay $11 for the filter at the parts store and $26 for the 5qt jug of mobil1

I know handa accessories sells Honda six-packs for ~$27

I have yet to see a bulk buy for Mobil1
