Default Is this a grommet in the firewall?

What is this? It looks like a grommet through the firewall but I'm not sure... I want to run amp cables through the firewall but I'm afraid to just pop this off. Does anyone know what it is?Name: re-edit.jpg

It looks like where the A/C lines would pop through the firewall. I don't see a/c lines, so you car must not have come with a/c, or it was removed.

You should be able to route the wires through there.

I agree that you could use it. Please put your car info in a signature and click the -add signature- checkbox for future posts. I'm thinking 5th gen, but on a 6th, you can fit the power lead through the driver side corner. It's the black line that goes over the strut brace.

That's definitely a 5th gen with a F22B2 judging by where the cruise control is and the spark plug tubes on the back side of the head.

PAHonda, yes that does look like where the A/C lines would penetrate, but in actuality I think they were lower.

To the OP, that grommet should be fine to run a power wire through, just check the other side of the firewall first because you may hit the heater core and/or A/C evaporator.

Thanks Guys, I'll be posting pictures of the entire installation if anyone is interested eventually. Not actually installing until the 27th though. Thanks again
