Had to replace negative wire on the battery and now radio says code

Default Had to replace negative wire on the battery and now radio says code

Ok so the cable on the negative side of the battery just broke... I replaced it and now my radio says CODE when it is off... Cant get the radio to turn on.... I really need some help

sorry should have been more specific... I have a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe... 4 cylinder 5 spd... Thanks for any help you guys can give me

Options:

  • Look for the cards with the radio code, it normally come with the owner's manual package (new or from a previous owner).
  • Check in the glove compartment, sometimes the dealer will put a sticker there with the code.
  • Dealer usually provides it for no charge with proof of ownership. Will need radio serial number.
  • Can retrieve via Honda ownerlink website if you have original owner's phone, zip code, car's VIN, and device serial number.
  • Call Honda America customer service

Thanks Redbull I didnt have the manual but i called the Honda Place and they gave me the codes... I appreciate the help!!!!

I am.... I love her... Just glad that that was an easy fix!!! I was about to get pissed until i got on here and looked around a little bit... I am sooo glad that I joined this forum... I would be lost... LOL
