Didn't notice any thing wrong with the caliper today.

Things I inspected:
- Pins, they were lubed and the boots were still in good condition
- pads, the inner pad was a little unevenly worn so I swapped them (put the inner on the out and vise versa)
- Checked the spring - was ok
- Checked the cable - was also OK
- applied the brake on different levels and used a torque wrench to test the amount needed to move the tires. Both sides were within 2 ft lbs.
- noticed nothing wrong with the rotor or bearing....
- I also screwed in the piston a half turn to see if it just needed to be reset

So I am kind of at a loss, I will see if the pad swap made the difference. At least I know the caliper isn't frozen.

How'd you swap inner & outer? Isn't there metal tabs on the inner to make a squeeking sound when they wear out?
