hard to start when cold
Back with a new issue. My 93 Accord is getting hard to start when cold. Cranks normally but doesn’t start unless the accelerator is pressed down some. Normally it starts without touching pedal.
No codes, last dealer tune-up was 20K miles ago. When warmed up, it runs great. My son who uses this car says it idle speed drops too fast when it’s warming up.
I’m thinking maybe main relay, maybe fast idle valve. You all have any suggestions on how to narrow it down?
Many Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. I picked up some throttle body cleaner and cleaned up the throttle body. There was some black stuff on the back side of the rotating valve, but didn't seem bad. Removed and cleaned the fast idle valve. This didn't seem bad either.
The good news is when we did a cold start and it started up immediately without delay. So we'll monitor and see if cold start issue returns.
Thanks
