DesertHonda, you are correct! I bow down! The work hasn't been completed yet, but it's the electrical portion of the ignition switch. Thanx again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too - so I can get rid of it! Now the power lock door button/switch/lever isn't woking. It was before I dropped it off for the ignition switch repair. Today, during the repair, they called me to ask if the car had an aftermarket remote start or alarm installed on it. When I got the car, I had no knowledge of this and no key chain transmitter indicating so. The last time I looked under the dash I noticed what looked like a brain box from an alarm or remote start. Anyway, he asked me if I wanted it hooked back up because the ignition switch wiring was spliced through it. I told him no - just to hook it back up like it wasn't ever there. Do you think my door lock malfunction is related to that? Maybe some wire was missed and not hooked up. Thank you!

If neither side (passenger/driver) is working then check your fuses first and make sure that one didn't get blown somehow, if all the fuses (under dash and under hood) are ok then I'd start questioning the shop a bit more to see what they may have done, perhaps the alarm system went out and killed the power door lock operations so they disconnected that part of it...
