Heater Hoses ?
1995 Honda Accord 2.7L
I am looking to change the heater hoses as they are original and dont look very good. I have found 3 hoses for the car on Gates Website.
1. Heater to Valve-1
2. Heater to Thermostat
3. Valve-1 to Intake Manifold
so my question is, do I replace all of them? total costs for the 3 is $100. I figure Gates hoses will work well. any other suggestions?

ok, well I can really only see the one clearly going into the firewall and it needs replace. I posted a picture the other day, so I have to assume the other 2 should be changed as they are all original hoses. amazing they have lasted in Florida so long but Honda parts, the best!
so I will go with Gates! thank you very much! Rock Auto has 1 for $17 and another for $22. $8.99 ship. best deal on these I have found. ordering now.
so do you think its smart to replace the Radiator hoses while im flushing the system? they are not original. I installed a new Radiator and hoses January 2018. so the hoses are 7 years old.
thank you!

It's usually the top radiator hose that goes bad first due to the hot coolant going through it to the radiator. Often the bottom hose will last a few years longer than the top, assuming they were the same quality. If the top hose isn't hard or soft or bulging, that's a good sign and it should still be ok. You could remove the top hose and inspect the inside also and if it still feels like a new hose then you will probably be fine. Sometimes I just replace the top hose. Hoses these days last much longer than when I was young. The OEM honda hoses were excellent quality and could last over 20 years.

do you recommend buying new radiator hose clamps or the originals hold and never fail in your experience? Im assume they last forever but I though I would ask.
