Default RE: Heater and temperature

Thanks for the replies. Been kinda busy lately, but I finally got a chance to check it out, and have confirmed that the heater control valve indeed does not move when the **** is turned. I pulled the **** out and checked that it does turn the metal rod underneath, so the push/pull cable linkage is broken somewhere (when I open the valve manually, the heat works fine). Is it possible for me to fix this myself? Or will I need to take it to a shop?

The linkage is under the dash on pax side. It may help to get someone to move the valve so you can identify the wire linkage movement. It is fairly complicated mechanism and I won't attempt to describe the details. It is not that difficult to adjust w/ the instructions. My suggestion is to download the 94-97 Honda Accord Shop Manual from hondahookup.com. The procedure w/ illustrations is in the manual.

good luck
