Bought car used after a few months the driver side motor quit took it apart found the cheapest constructed electric motor I'v ever seen held together with sheet metal screws and no brush holders just a peices of spring steel bent in a L copper coated with a peice of brush material glued to the end what had happened was from the current going through the spring it heated up distorted like all springs do when heated and no more brush to armature contact . I would rebend the spring and the motor would work for 3-6 weeks then the same thing even tried replacing the whole rack ,motor assembly with a new one from fleabay window goes up and down quickly and smoothly when the motor works the new assembly lasted 3 months same problem . I'm wondering if it's something to do with the master switch that you have to teach wher the top and bottom of the window travel goes. Can't find any recalls on it HELP.
