HELP... 91 Accord jumping RPM and jerking when warm
I need help asap... Im going to start by listing the parts I have already replaced.
Spark Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor
Dizzy
CPU
Fuse box
Main relay
TPS sensor
Fuel filter
Heres the problem; I have a 91 Honda accord 5-speed. Car idles great no problems there. When car gets warmed up the tachometer jumps erratically. The car will start jerking as if its misfiring, or choking. When I accelerate is mainly when it does it but when I let off the accelerator it will run normal. As soon as I give the car any gas at that point it wont go anywhere and it will get close to dieing, let off the gas again and its fine.
I had the car in a shop for 4 hours and they told me it was the dizzy after I had replaced it 3 times. They said the car was running normal everything checks out mechanically. I replaced it again and no surprise to me it didnt fix it. Ive checked the grounds they are fine. Ive looked through the vacum system and there are no leaks. Ive checked just about everything and its still doing it. I really dont want to resort to taking it to Honda. I get no check engine light and I get no codes for this either.
I really need help with this I've been putting up with this gradually over the last 2 months. Ive been through every forum online and anyone even close this issue fixed it by replacing parts Ive already replaced.

Did the new distributor come with a ignitor? It has four wires running to it inside of the distributor. Did the new distributor come with a new coil? EX accords had a coil inside of the distributor, and the DX/LX have an external coil.
There is an important ground that is under the distributor. I think it is on the thermostat housing. Clean that ground with sandpaper or a wire brush.

The new distributor came with the ignitor. This motor has been replaced in the past before I purchased it, so the motor must be out of an ex because it has an internal coil. I spent a good amount of time trying to locate that ground but I was unable to find it. I will look again.

Does this happen around the same RPM range....let's say you keep it under 1,500 RPM's does it act "OK", but as soon as you get about that the "bucking/hesitation" starts?
Only when warm, NO CEL or stored codes....IMO, the car is going into closed loop and something that will not "set" a code is not right.......

Update
Sorry guys, I wanted to give the car a couple of days to be sure that I fixed the problem... So I found that ground underneath the thermostat housing and what do you know it was loose. I took it off and cleaned it with a wire brush, reatatched it to the housing and it fixed the problem.
Thanks for the help... Too bad I couldnt find that before I replaced everything. Oh well, now the car runs better than before and I dont have to worry about a tune up anytime soon.
