Help with 99 accord engine swap
#12
yeah but isnt that a code to bypass the immobilizer? If the wiring for the immobilizer is in a different spot but your bypassing it with the brake code it should still start possibly. Do you know anywhere I can look up the plugs to see what pins are where and see if there is a difference
I also attached a pic. of the ECM/PCM Connector A pin out.

Ask your Honda mechanic friend if he/she could bring over a pin tool set.

For the Immobilizer communication problem, it look like you would take the Blue wire from pin A13 and connect it to pin A16 of your old harness.
A13, A22, and A31 are applicable to the 01 for the ABS/TCS, which your 99 didn't have.

Looking at the ECM/PCM connector diagrams:
Connector A for the ECM/PCM is from the dashboard wire harness.
Connectors B, C, and D for the ECM/PCM are from the engine wire harness. So, since you already changed the engine wire harness and the ECM/PCM, the wiring there should already match up. A large difference was related to the wiring for the different ignition system at connector C.
From what I could tell, it may just be the modification to the dashboard harness wiring for the blue wire from A13 to A16 for the Connector A, at least related to the ECM/PCM.
