RE: help with accident
Thanks for your replies.
Yes my car is paid off. In reference to informationI believe Ihave enough. I have several pictures of the accident, a video of the accident taken by a warehouse security camara, and when it comes to times and dates its all written down in the police report. About the attorney... I dont want to speak to him, I prefer thatan attorney speaks to him since Im only 19 and hes probably going to try to turn the tables on me, and he also had a warrant for his arrestso that sounds scary.
The bad part is that just as 00accord said I might just spend even more money dealing with an attorney because he could end up not paying me. Ill just try to keep a positive state of mind...

RE: help with accident
Dude, you have my luck... which blows...
My only suggestion at this point would be to first take good detailed pictures, and bring them to the shop.. See if they can make any estimates on the pictures.
Other than that, you'll probably have to tow it to the shop to get them to look at it, but you'll need to remove it as well or they'll probably charge you to keep it in their parking lot.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

RE: help with accident
I hate to tell you this man but I am 99.9999999% sure your car is totaled by looking at it. Tell me what options your car has on it(EX, LX, Leather, etc..) how many miles are on it, and your ZIP code and I can run give you a rough estimate of what the value of it would be. Also you could look at comparable cars(99 V6 Accords with similar mileage) for salein your area to get a value.

RE: help with accident
I'd still sue out of spite *L* However, 00accord is probably right, you have a better chance of getting SOME money by working with the guy directly. and there is a good chance it is totalled. but never lose hope!
