help finding TCM in a 97 Accord Lx

There is nothing to suggest your TCM is bad. A blinking D4 indicates a code stored for a transmission fault. Why not short the service check connector and get the code? It may allow a simple fix to your problem.

Some earlier (90-93 Accords) had defective TCM's, but I haven't heard of this w/ the 94-97 models.

yeah i am getting around to doing that . i just have a guy with a 97 parts car he was just gonna let me swap it out to see if the TCU or PCM is the issue
