I've never heard of O'Reillys.......... I would have to have it towed somewhere for them to check it.

O'Reilly auto parts is a chain store like advance, autozone, etc.

Can you describe what it happening when you try to start the car now? Is the starter turning the engine at all?

We have advanced and autozone but no o'reilly..........
The car now is just clicking again, it doesn't turn over. It kinda goes back and forth between the two. Sometimes it'll click and sometimes it'll turn over....... but never start.
I was going to try and jump the starter but wasn't sure which connections to jump. It has 2 bolt connections and a middle connection with a small spade type connection.
Thanks for the help

When the starter engages, does it stay engaged like a normal startup? I see that your car is a manual tranny. Have you tried popping the clutch to start the engine?

Have you found the ICM yet? If you remove the two pin connector near the distributor, you should have 12V from the yel/blk wire to body ground with the ignition switch turned to the II position. If you don't have that, then the ignition switch is likely bad.

No still not sure which wire to unplug for the icm........
I have a plug with 8 wires and a plug with 2 next to the distributor....... and I have a plug going into the coil. That's all I can spot.
The starter clicking must just be a low voltage issue with the battery from trying to start it so much. I put some jumper cables on it and the motor turned again. Still no start but it turned.
Anyhow, with the jumper cables still on I have 11volts going to the yel/blk distributor plug. I think my multimeter reads low because even after a complete charge my battery will only read 11v.
So does this rule out the ignition switch?
As for popping the clutch, there is not enough room where it's at to get enough speed. It's parked in an alley with no incline.

Here's what I have.....

Have you verified that you have no spark? Get a spare spark plug (or remove one), ground the threads of the spark plug to the engine block. Have someone else try to start the car. Look to see if your spark plug is firing. You should see a blue/white spark with the proper spark plug gap. There is a lot of information on this site to help you troubleshoot the problem.

You have to take off the distributor cap to get to the icm. It will be below that last pic you posted.

Here is a pic from a 93 that is for sale on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...spagenameZWDVW

Well I decided not to buy the car, but I really appreciate the help nonetheless.
I never could figure out what was wrong. The ICM still wasn't easily accessed even after removing the distributor cap........ I couldn't figure out how to get the rotor off.
Oh well.......
Thanks again.
