What was the year of the donor engine?

What ECU are you running?

What I'm trying to figure out is if the engine and ECU are "matched".

The 94-95 Accords are OBD-I. The 96-97 are OBD-II. So some things are a bit different between them.

What is the actual code number you are getting?

P1382 = CYP sensor no signal

I think they changed the sensor signal scheme between OBD-1 & OBD-2. Not only the location of the CKP & TDC sensors, but the details of the signals from all 3 of the timing sensors. Are you using the distributor that matches to the ECU?

Just saying F22B2 doesn't tell us everything. But the first digit of the block serial # should indicate the model-year of that engine.

I'm not sure of the first year that F22B2 was available, but the first digit of the block serial # counts from there. So 1 is the first year, 2 is the second year, etc.

Are you running the internal coil distributor from the F22B1? Or the external coil distributor from your old F22B2?
