Hesitation
Im having a little issue with my car....92 accord ex-r. it has a hesitation problem under 2000 rpm and it seems to be a little worse when the engine is cool. If im very light with the throttle it doesnt show up but if i give it over a 1/4 throttle itle act up and it wont respond if i gradually give it more and if i keep going with that it gets worse and the car doesnt accelerate it actually missfired once when i fed it too much. It seems fine with light throttle openings or higher rpm. i drove my friends 90 ex-r and it seemed to bemuch stronger under 3000 rpm but above that they feel more or less the same. last time i had this problem with another car it turned out to be the 02 sensor but my check engine light is not on and yes it does work....i duno....any ideas? thanks.

RE: Hesitation
Your hesitation has classic symptoms of lean stumble due to EGR manifold blockage. You need to clean the EGR passages and manifold downstream of EGR valve. This is a common problem on 4-cylinder Accords for a number of years. PM your email address and I'll send a pdf of the procedure. I could not find a DIY for this procedure. You might try a search as I believe a link to the pdf on some site was posted recently.
