I just changed the oil yesterday in my 97 Accord with 196K miles on it. I am adding a quart of oil about every 1000 miles, so it will be interesting to see if the leakage changes, as I just switched from Mobil high mileage 5w/30 to regular Mobil 5w/30. I'll reply with my findings.

Please focus on drips/leaks from seals, not oil consumption
which can go out the tailpipe. So does your car have leaks,
as in oil spots/puddles?

Which ever way the cookie crumbles is fine for me. All just want to know.
Right now we have 2 people saying High Mileage Oil (Castrol Brand)
caused and prolonged oil leaks. Good serious data from these two.
