Default Homelink problem

I have a 2008 Accord. My Homelink to my garage door opener works all the time. The one to my village gate only works for a short time after its programmed. Anyone ??

The gate probably uses a code hopping transmitter/receiver. Your Homelink is probably picking up the current code, working for a bit, and then stops working when the code changes to the next one.

Default Homelink problem

I've not had this problem with other cars homelink systems, which were programmed the same way that I programmed the on in my accord.

Well, the car should be under warranty, you could take it in to Honda and talk to them. You could also try talking to the owner's association or developers of the, I'm assuming, gated community.

Default Homelink problem

Honda has replaced the unit and is still trying to determine the cause of the problem. I spoken with Homelink, and they suggest an outside source of interference. I've removed my EZpass and my blue-tooth connected cell phone. Nothing works. Any suggestion as to what might be a source of interference?
