We don't get the diesel here in USA, so I can only generalize. I changed the title to attract the attention of our Eu & UK members.
First and foremost, make sure your oil level is OK. I always tell people not to trust the number of bottles you pour in - ALWAYS check the level on the dipstick. And I trust the viscosity index is correct for whatever the diesel calls for...?
Does your car have a warning light for oil level as well as oil pressure? If so, which lamp is it?
The oil-pressure switch (on our petrol engines) has been known to get flaky, I'd check that. They can even leak oil out through the switch when they fail. I can only guess that it's a similar switch on your engine.
