Default Hot air issues

I have a 2007 Accord ex-L V6. So I’m having issues diagnosing a problem I’m having with my car not switching to hot air. I replaced the heater control valve thinking it was the problem no luck. I then consulted a family friend about the issue he suggested checking out the blend door actuator(s). Checked them they weren’t moving so I ordered a new driver side actuator to try out to see if that was the problem and nope. The car already had an aftermarket radio/radio install kit in it when I bought it. The installation kit replaced the factory climate control panel and now I’m stumped on what to check next any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do all of the other functions work on your climate control?

What kind of aftermarket unit is installed? Post a picture of your stereo/climate controls.

Your heater actuator is on the passenger side. Part numbers 79170SDAA41 or 604-882. You changed the wrong one

everything else works fine. The control panel will switch vents, swap from recirculated to outside air, rear defroster will turn on etc. the only thing it won’t do is move the blend doors on both driver and passenger sides.

So there’s a third actuator other than the driver and passenger blend actuators?

You have 4 in all. When you replace one you might as well replace all of them. You having an 07 you're on borrowed time

I tried replacing the drivers because it controls the heater control valve. I guess I’ll have to call the lot I bought from and have them put it in the shop because I don’t have the time to mess with it right now.

I was thinking that maybe the factory HVAC controls were moved to your aftermarket setup. If you go to the common diy thread in the gen tech help forum, there is a link to get hvac codes for the 03-07 accords. It is worth a shot to get hvac codes.

The kit is from a company called Metra. I just find it out that the actuators that control the blending aren’t working but the vent doors move just fine .
