How do i get the smoothest ride?
I have a 2003 accord ex sedan. Everything is stock except my wheels. I am unhappy with how smooth my ride is. I am slowly modifying my car, more for comfort and functionality than performance. I want to feel like I'm riding on a cloud. Like I'm in a luxury car.
What are the things I can modify and what would you suggest I do? what is the biggest factor in ride comfort? how much will it take away from performance? why does god love the infantry?

Well probably one of the more important things is tires. I see you have 17 inch rims, so I would presume you have lower profile tires on them(possibly 40 or 45 wall size), so that will make the ride a little stiffer. If you went back to a smaller rim size and a taller tire you will notice a smoother ride. The drawback would be a decrease in handling because the stiffer 40 or 45 tire has less roll in a turn.

Stock for a 2003 Accord LX was 15 x 6.5 wheels & 205/65-R15 tires. You could choose some "touring" type tires for a smoother ride. You'll give up some cornering power, so you have to make that choice.
You have 17 x 7.5 "drag" wheels? What tires? Drag tires aren't made for smoothness...
Do you know whether the springs & shocks are stock or not? Maybe stock suspension and some more "normal" 16" wheels & tires?

I have a 2003 Accord Coupe and have always been the driver. My wife has been complaing about the ride I have 124100 miles and was just the passenger. Its tough to text anf my elbows are being banged around and I hate the ride too it should be 10 times smoother. We changed to 15 inch factory steel rims 205 70 15. We got the car with aluminum 19 inch performance tires but the roads in NJ quickly broke all the rims one at a time. Original shocks. Front end checked new ball joints amd alignment is due. Ride is much too harsh any suggestions?
