Default how to remove a 3m double-sided tape?

I bought an aftermarket fuel lid cover on my 09 accord. unfortunately I didnt put it right, I want to redo it again. I tried to remove it but it was so sticky. my questions are:

what tool do I need to use to remove it?

If I removed it already can I buy another 3m tap so I can stick it back again to the fuel lid?

pardon my english. this is also my first post. thanks in advance

Adhesive remover from auto stores or Walmart should work.

I like 3M adhesive remover which I was able to pick up at Walmart. It is in the auto section and can have a black or white label. The one I bought was a white label.

Then for new tape, 3m would be the brand of tape I would look for....you'll have to figure out width and thickness. Then go to a good parts store or if there is a paint store near by then go there, they should have or be able to get you what you will need.
