Ahhh... That sucks... I will look for a leak down test to rent but I really don't want to buy one. If anything I will take off the cylinder head and have it resurfaced. I should have had that done in the first place. If the car hasn't started yet I shouldn't have caused any damage right?

You've done a lot of work/replaced a lot of parts. Specifically, you removed the timing belt from the camshaft. Are you positive that the camshaft timing is correct? The engine can have low compression if the camshaft isn't in time with the crankshaft.

I set the timing to top dead center so timing should have been correct right?

You set the crankshaft to TDC...how 'bout the camshaft?

I'm not familiar with 4th Gen cars (3rd Gen?), but 5th & 6th Gen F-series engines have marks on the camshaft sprocket that have to line of with the valve cover seating surface when the crank is set @ TDC.

A camshaft out of time could very well account for low compression across the board. And it cause the car to not start.
