I need help I keep throwing code 9 off an on
Okay I'm new here an I have a 95 Honda accord ex 4 door 4cyl.
An I keep throwing code 9 off an on some people told me it was the dizzy
I went an bought two brand new ones an both of them still kept throwing the code 9. I don't know what else to do so any help would be most appreciated
I don't know if this would cause it but there's alot of air coming out the gas tank when I take the gas cape off an I don't know why

Check w/ search for other "code 9" threads. There have been several.
I had a similar experience w/ my 94Ex. After replacing distributor, I measured resistance of CYP sensor at new distributor connector (good), and again at the ECU connector (again good). This indicates the fault is in the ECU (damaged circuit board or jumper). From memory, the correct resistance range is 700-1000 ohms.
Used ECU's are inexpensive at ebay or car-part.com
good luck

Better served in the General Tech section.
At the top of this section is a sticky-Common DIY Threads, there is a link on where to download a manual that will help.
For the CYP, I believe it is the wires that lead to B11 and B12....there is also test for ground from B11, 13 and 15.

Got your PM, see if this helps. Again, please look in the "sticky" I ref for a link to a manual you can download. And as TX said, this could still turn out to be an issue with the ECU but you want to rule out everything else first....No I haven't looked at your other post about "fuel tank pressure" yet.
