The circuit is still closed to ground even with the ECU unplugged, which means that the ECU is fine. The short to ground is coming from somewhere else. Wireharness or MFR.

Post back your tests with the main fuel relay unplugged. The non red/blk wire should be an open circuit.

I thought the MFR was not in that side of the circuit at all. Its only in the hot side of the injector circuit (red/black wire). Not in the ground side of the injector circuit.

I can't write a long post. Basically the MFR grounds constantly at ECU pin A23 and A23 is the ground for the injectors.

For injector ground-legto beclosed all the time means MFR *AND* ECU have to close.

MFR supposed to be closed constant (key on).
ECU only supposed to pulse closed.

Do you have a 1996 wiring drawing? OBD-2 has different pin-out than your 1995.

I know that 1998 A23 isnt injector ground.

I do not have the wireing diagram, im only 18 yrs old, and im in my first year of physics, lol. I will try to read it though. But i did test the wires on the injectors the non blk and red side is getting no voltage and the other side has continuity of about 11.2 now...battery is dying. was 11.8

I just looked at a 96 wiring diagram. The pinout is different, but the overall setup is the same. A10 is the ground for the Injectors.

LOL Im not raggin about your age. Question about wiring drawing was mostly for PA because pin A23.

Red/black wires should have batteryVOLTAGE. Not measuring continuity there.

Other wire is measured for continuity, not voltage.

Reply to my email so I can send you more detail.
