Default Idle still driving me nuts!!!!

I have a 99 Accord, EX, V6, Auto, 120k. I have a bad idle at stop signs etc when the car is warmed up-never when cold. I have done these things: adjusted the valves, cleaned the port on the bottom of the manifold, new plugs, wires, cap and battery, cleaned the EGR valve and throtte body, checked for vacume leaks-even at the motor mounts. The only codes I get are 300 to 306 (misfires) but nothing else.

About a week ago, the battery boiled over and was changed by a mechanic in Wyo. He said he checked the alternator and it was all right. I put a meter on it and it read 14.00 volts at idle. However, when I turn on the AC and lights the charging voltage goes down to 12.5 and doesnt recover and the car starts to idle erractically until I turn the accesories off? I never get a dead battery and the alternator light doesnt come on.

Could the alternator be weak or the votage regulator be causing the problem? or does the weak idle slow the motor down to the point where it doesnt charge enough? It doesnt start to idle poorly until the car is fully warmed up and is excaserbated by the accesories. Why wouldnt the alternator come on? I know how the alt light doesnt have a sending unit rather it relys on the ground being closed when the alternator starts working.

I have been pulling my hair out for months. Can I finally be on to something? or is this another unrelated problem.

Default Bad idle = Bad distributor

I have been pulling hair out regarding a bad idle on a 99, EX v/6. I have done everything valve adjsutment, manifold cleaning, plugs, wires, egr.

It idles bad and throws off codes 300-306 (no othes) runs good at high rpm

Finally a mechanic told me it might be the disributor?

Any thoughts on this?

Pull the battery while it's running. It should not die

IMO, do not ever do this with a modern car....voltage spikes are a bad thing for computers.

Ok now that we are done with that. If you have miss fire codes and have done everything - plugs, cap, rotor, ect - I'm back to the egr. Isn't there a passage in the intake that gets plugged....I know you cleaned one but I'm thinking there is more.....I'll look around for the TSB.

EDIT: Again, this ONLY happens once the car is warm...correct.
