Default Instrument Panel and Taillights out

I have recently been doing some body work on my twins 2001 Honda Accord 4DR Sedan LX 5MT 4 cyl. A small fender bender required that I replace a fender and drivers side headlight. Currently the instrument panel and taillights do not light up. The headlights, turn signals, backup lights, etc work fine. I cannot confirm that these lights when out after the small collision since they have been driving the car for two weeks now. The are 17 and are not very observant.

I have checked the bulbs in the tail lights and the fuses and they are ok. There was also a problem with the windshield wiper going on when I turned the headlights on. I cured this issue by resetting the multiplexer per the instructions in another post on this website. ( I turned the car on for 10 secs. with the windshield wiper intermmitent swith in a central position).

I have been reviewing the electrical schematics of an aftermarket Accord Repair manual. It appears that the instrument panel and the tail lights are controlled by the Drivers Side Multiplexer. Can anyone confirm this? Also, any recommendations to solve this problem would be appreciate. If the response is that I should focus on the Multiplexer it would be helpful to get intructions to replace it. My after market repair manual does not cover that procedure. Pictures would also be appreciated.

As you have a schematic available, I'd suggest you grab up your handy multi-meter and check input & output of the light switch, then input output of the multiplexer.
