intermittent wiper quit working 1994
So today, rainy day in Chicago, had the wipers on low on my way to work, rain slowed to where I just needed to use the intermittent wiper setting. Well, they only move about 3-4" then stop..............then 3-4 more inches then stop.........You get the idea.
Also, they will not park on their own when I turn them off from low, high, or "quick wipe"
I have to turn them off when they are in the park position or else I am stuck staring at them, lol.
all happened at once today. Same results on my way home......
I would guess wiper motor........any other thoughts?

I think the whole contact-ring assembly that tells them where to park is built into the wiper motor. That's also tied in with the intermittent control, so probably when you fix one it'll fix the other.
Pull the wiper motor & see if it can come apart to fix it??

Did replacing the wiper motor solve your park issue and the weird pulsing?

Never found out, sold the car, lol. A deal landed on my lap I couldn't pass up.
