Default Keyless remote

Hello,

I have an odd problem with my keyless remote. All of its functions work, except I can't open the doors locks. If I open the driver door with a key it will unlock the other doors. I had the car at a local Honda repair facility for 3 days and they could not figure it out.

Any ideas you have I will give to them and revisit the problem at a later date.

Thank you!!!

Kevin

first of all - have you tried both keyless remotes (just to rule out that the remote is bad)

next step is to test the keyless unit if it receives the signal and wether it applies the voltage to the lock.

when they said they couldn't figure it out - was that because it's still on warranty? or did you have to pay for the check up as well?

what is your model year of the car ?

If its not the remote it should be the mechanism not sending/getting the unlock signal.

All I needed was to add remotes to my receiver. I got new units for about 1/3 dealer price for my 00 Accord & 99 Odyssey on -

http://www.ThePartsYouNeed.com

They seem to have remotes & instructions for everything on their site.
