Default Low Tire Pressure Indicator

Hello again forum. I have been on here recently regarding possible transmission issues, so now for something completely different. Just returned to my 08 V6 Auto to find the Low Tire Pressure Indicator on when I started the ignition. I checked the pressures and one tire was slightly under pressured. Pumped it back up again, started the engine, but the warning indicator is still on. I can take the vehicle to my local garage on Monday morning, but in the meantime I wondered if there is anything I should immediately be concerned about. Many thanks indeed.

If it is the low tire pressure indicator, once the tire with the low pressure is filled back to the proper threshold, once you drive it, it should go out pretty quick. If not, check the tire pressures on all tires again. Tires generally should be checked cold. If this occurs frequently where you have to fill the tire every few days or weeks, you probably have an nail or screw somewhere.

If it is the TPMS light, that is something else.

Thanks redbull-1. You were spot on. You're getting too good at this I will certainly keep an eye on the tire though just in case it has been punctured.
