Default Mexican versus Japanese parts?

My local shop quoted me two different numbers to have some ac hoses replaced. On was with Mexican parts and the other was with Japanese. The Mexican parts where much cheaper, which should I go for?

japanese parts will probably be of better quality, but with something like that its probably not overly important i bought some mexican made power steering lines once(for my mom's ford obviously) and got them straight from the dealership and they were about a foot too short. so i ended up just getting generic stuff at autozone.

go with the OEM.

OEM is always the best bet. But if that fails...go japanese.
