That gas mileage seems normal, I have a '91 Accord DX 5-speed, my 32 mile highway commute each way is about 30 when warmer, but dropped to 27 when the temps got colder. 243k and no oil between changes Chris

the ethanol is corn based instead of sugarcane based if that makes a difference.
Can't see why, ethanol is ethanol and methanol is methanol, I don't think the base material it's produced from makes any difference.

didnt know for sure, i try to avoid ethanol at all costs although its getting harder to do

Hey Hey! Mileage no longer slipping! I got 27.6 MPG today after trying a top tier gasoline. I guess that's some improvement. At least it isn't going down anymore.
