Search thru your owner's manual. It'll giveintervals forstuff like spark plugs & valve adjustment. You can check/adjust spark timing& base idle.
You can't do much to the fuel injection other than checking for failed parts & occasionally putting some Techron or similar stuff in the gas tank.
The traditional 'tune-up' was dominated by carburators & ignition points/condensor. That stuff is long gone.

If you have standard NGK plugs, I think they are supposed to be changed every 30k or so. If you buy Platinums, they will last around 100k. Wires, Cap, and Rotor should be checked regularly and replaced if any damage.
Lots of people like to change the cap and rotor every so often anyway, but I just check and replace if needed. I checked the cap and rotor on my 95 a while back and the inside was spotless and looked brand new, so I didn't change anything. To check the wires, in a darkened garage, crank the car and look for any arcing. if you want you can spray a light mist of water on the wires to aid in the process. If a wire arcs, replace them all. Honda OEM wires are best. Use NGK or Denso plugs.

Thanks for the replies...I change the oil every 3k miles and have decided to try and do the other stuff since there is such great info available from sites such as this one...I changed the main relay last week without a problem and today I checked the tranny fluid which was changed 15,000 miles ago and it was still pinkish in color so i'm going to wait another 10,000 on that...Changed air filter also today(honda charges way too much(38 bucks) so I bought a fram for 15 bucks instead....Car has 177,000 miles and is still smooth as butter and I almost enjoy driving it more that my 06 G35 coupe with tons of mods(engine and suspension).......Wires were replaced 15,000 miles ago along with the cap and rotor.....I'll do the plugs in another 15,000 miles....Other thanchecking the hoses and belts(which i'll have to research more) I think that covers a basic "tuneup,"correct????....Thanks again, Markiev

Might want to replace the brake fluid every two years, and coolant every 2 to 4 years. In case you haven't already.
Also, does the manual call for Fuel filter replacement on your model year Accord? Mine is a 95 and a PITA to replace.
