Default Misfiring at speed

Hi. This is my first post. My wife has a 93 Accord EX. The problem is that the engine feels like it is misfiring when she is up to speed. At idle, the engine runs smoothly and the same when she is accellerating. But when she reaches speed and lets up on the throttle, the engine feels like it is losing power and starts shaking like it has a dead cylinder. If she presses the gas again, it smooths out. I just replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, checked the vacuum lines I could see (and found and fixed a tiny hole in one near something brass colored and somewhat cylindrical on top of the engine I cant identify). No changes in the operation of the car after doing all that. Please help. She is driving me crazy! LOL.

Use above link to access any ECU flash codes from Check Engine Light and any TCU (trans control unit) codes from the D4 light. Even if no D4 light flashing sometimes there is a code stored. A faulty lockup torque converter (on-off-on-etc) might cause the sensation of an engine miss.

good luck

If the car stumbles at 1500-2000 rpms, you might want to clean the EGR ports on the intake.
